Financial Controller

Reporting to the Group Financial Controller and also working closely with the CFO, the role will support the financial requirements of the business.  In particular ensuring that monthly management accounts are prepared on a timely and accurate basis.  You will work in close collaboration with other key stakeholders within the business and will assist with the development of other Finance team members.

What will I be doing?

• Supervision and review of the monthly accounts preparation for 4 service provider entities (Ireland, UK branch, Canada and Italy)
• Management and improvement of financial controls and processes
• Manage the Finance team in Ireland, including taking responsibility for their training and development
• Support the Group Financial Controller and Commercial Finance manager in creating the annual budget
• Monthly budget review with heads of departments
• Manage the annual audit process and assist with Group audit
• Review VAT, PAYE and Corporation tax returns prior to submission to Revenue
• Review the monthly capitalisation schedules and ensure they comply with the company policy and IAS 38
• Assist in the preparation and review of monthly Finance Pack for senior management
• Finance business partnering other departmental managers
• Liaise with Treasury Manager for the service providers cashflow requirements
• Work closely with the Group FC and CFO on all finance related matters 
• Take a lead role migrating to a new financial system
• Ad-hoc requests from management

What are we looking for?

• Minimum 3-5 years post qualified experience
• Previous experience from an audit background (big 4 ideal) under IFRS
• Exposure to group consolidations
• Experience of managing a small team
• Online gaming experience (advantageous)
• Experience of working in an IT company (advantageous)
• Experience in migrating to a new finance system (advantageous)
• Occasional Travel to London or Europe may be required
